Our 15th anniversary is upon us and we are so honored and humbled to have been able to serve you, our communities, friends and family for such a long period of time. It is no small feat to last more than even just a year in the hospitality business, so we have defied the odds all because of YOU, your love and support. THANK YOU!
On that note, have you ever caught yourself wondering what exactly is an American bistro anyway?!? A bistro is defined as “a small restaurant, serving moderately priced, home-style meals in a modest setting, often with alcohol.” — Each American bistro is unique in its offering of signature dishes and cocktail selections, but they are all a testament to the particular influences and cultures of their neighborhood and clientele. Here at Truxton’s, we pride ourselves in offering delicious cuisine from a wide array of cultural influences.
And in true bistro fashion, Truxton’s ingredients are locally sourced and seasonal. It is important to us that we serve the freshest and most tasty ingredients to our customers while also supporting the local farming community…after all, without our community there would be no Truxton’s American Bistro! Local produce and farmed goods are also why our food is always fresh and we invigorate our menu with new seasonal items so often! So there you have it, the history of our namesake.
In honor of our community appreciation and the 15 years it has provided us, we are happy to support, highlight, bring awareness to and help raise funds for LA Food Bank’s local efforts called We Feed LA. We will be donating 15% of all dine-in sales to We Feed LA the week of July 19-23 to fight hunger in the Los Angeles community to those less fortunate.
