Creative cocktails are a staple of most restaurants these days. Not only are they delicious but they also bring an artisanal touch to the typical mixed drink. Though at Truxton’s we may not toss bottles around and set shots on fire, we bring an updated and modern feel to our seasonal drink menu. A lot of the cocktails we offer are created by the bar managers along with assistance of the bar staff. Here is a peek at what was muddled up the other day during our testing…
The Very Berry Ginger Mojito!! Full of unique flavors, this cocktail has taken the base of a traditional mojito along with berries and ginger. Instead of the usual soda, this mojito is finished with ginger beer to give it a little kick. Strawberry rum and blueberry purée make berry flavors come through along with some muddled blueberries and blackberries, and of course some fresh mint. Topped with some fresh blueberries to complete the deal.
