I mean, even the “Kicked Up Mac ‘n Cheese,” which wreaks havoc on what passes for my diet, is so beyond tempting: a super mac ’n’ cheese of jumbo elbow macaroni tossed with a blend of cheeses, applewood bacon and roasted tomatoes, with crispy onions on top, served in a skillet. (Its arrival may make you wonder why you ordered anything else. But then, one must.) ”

Thought it doesn’t get much play on a city level (no surprise given the amount of talent in Los Angeles right now), Truxton’s has proved a popular and easily repeatable restaurant that appeals to just about anyone.”
